Kindergarten!

My baby girl started Kindergarten today! I'm so thankful she is able to go to school in my district!  She was so excited!  She couldn't wait to tell me all about it!  She said her favorite part was playing on the playground with her BFF Mirra:)

She was so excited to ride the bus!  I was planning on taking her the first day and the Principal made a big announcement that we should let them ride the bus the first day, if that was going to be the routine.  Lilly looked right at me and said, "See Mama you can't take me to school!"

So, this crazy mama was tricky and went to school to snap some pictures of my big girl!

She spotted me, hugged me, gave me some pounds and ran in:)

The principal sent me a picture of her eating her lunch!  She said Lilly raised her hand and she thought she needed help opening something! Nope.  Lilly said, "Hey, I'm out of carrots."  That's my girl:)

Her teacher, Mrs. Johnson emailed me today and said, " Lilly is doing great!!  She is such a big girl!  Love her."

It's great knowing I have so many people looking out for my girl!
